Baby's now the size of a mango!
Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil, and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.

How far along? 19 weeks!!
Total weight gain: down 10 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Sleep: I am sleeping for longer periods of time!! I am starting to feel much more human. :o)
Best moment this week: Seeing how excited everyone is about little Avery being a girl.
Movement: I think I am definitely feeling movement, I can't wait until it is stronger and more consistent.
Gender: Team Pink!!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: Enjoying a nice glass of wine and sushi.
What I am looking forward to: Starting on the nursery for real now that we know she is a girl.
